Welcome to this week’s sausage party! Actually, every week is usually a sausage party here on Film Fallout, but this week we get to talk about one instead of just having one. Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan explore the incredibly disturbing truths of food with Seth Rogen’s latest venture, Sausage Party. Directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon, this animated film is not afraid to go to very far reaches of the comedic expanse to shock you. But is it too far? As usual, the news of the world is discussed and so are this week’s terrible line up of blu-rays (which Dylan wrote a recap for). Our pick of the week ends up being God’s Not Dead 2 because everyone needs more Ray Wise in their lives. Chris also talks about the 2006 college comedy, Accepted, for some apparent reason. He also discusses the new zombie film from South Korea, Train to Busan, which places a lot of people on a train with a lot of zombies. Meanwhile, Dylan took a look at David Lowery’s (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) take on the Disney classic, Pete’s Dragon.
