Film Fallout Podcast #32.5 – Let’s Talk About TIFF 2016

Headshot, TIFF

Welcome to the round-up of the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, where Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan discuss a handful of the films seen at the festival. Chris went this year, and managed to come out with a bunch of films to watch out for this Holiday season and whenever some other ones finally get released. Below is a list of what films he saw and reviews (if applicable):

The Handmaiden (dir. Park Chan-wook)
Nocturnal Animals (dir. Tom Ford)
La La Land (dir. Damien Chazelle)
Prevenge (dir. Alice Lowe)
Headshot (dir. Kimo Stamboel, Timo Tjahjanto)
The Bad Batch (dir. Ana Lily Amirpour)

There are some notable films at TIFF 2016 that I did not get to see, which is kind of a bummer, but we discuss those in the podcast as well as my feelings on the festival overall. So tune in to the podcast below, and join us again when Dylan discusses the 2016 Vancouver International Film Festival.
