Film Fallout Podcast #72 – War for the Planet of the Fleabags

War for the Planet of the Apes

Christopher Cross. Dylan Schwan. Together. Strong. We’re back with a review of War for the Planet of the Apes, starring Andy Serkis as everyone’s favorite ape, Caesar. Does this Matt Reeves film stand tall and conclude the Caesar trilogy? We take a look at our feelings on the series as a whole, and how we feel about Apocalypse Now being all the rage in 2017.

On top of this, Dylan finally caught up with Fleabag, a TV show for fans of You’re The Worst. We also discuss the trailer for A Wrinkle in Time, those pesky Emmy nominations, and why we’re excited for Criterion to be releasing Stalker this week on Blu-ray. Not only that, but this week also sees the release of Free Fire (which we talked about) and Kong: Skull Island (which we also talked about). Next week, we will return with our review of Dunkirk. Also, expect a retrospective podcast on Christopher Nolan in the coming days.

For now, give a listen to the podcast below:

Film Fallout is a weekly podcast about film and television, hosted on BagoGames.com. Every week, Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan discuss news happening in the industry, blu-ray releases coming out this week, what they’ve been watching, and then a review of one movie. You can listen to it on SoundCloudiTunes, or on BagoGames. Also follow us on Instagram for some behind-the-scenes magic. We are both on Twitter, if you’d like to follow us there. Chris is @HammerkopCross, Dylan is @DreaminDylanS, and you can follow the podcast @Filmfalloutcast. And finally, there is a Facebook page for the podcast if you’d like to ‘like’ us on that.
