Fans of Final Fantasy VII who are hoping for a remake may have to hold their breath a little while longer. While Tetsuya Nomura did acknowledge fans are waiting for a FF VII remake, he stated that the developer and publisher is concentrating on creating new experiences that are equal to, or better than, Final Fantasy VII.
He also went on to reveal that the secret ninja character, Yuffie Kisaragi, was originally planned as a wanted character. Wanted posters were supposed to be placed around Midgar.
