<p>Like any self-respecting RPG, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VII_Remake">Final Fantasy VII Remake</a> also brings a large number of weapons. There are 24 weapons in total divided among the four characters that you can control: Cloud, Barret, Tifa and Aerith. Take note that each weapon also has its own special ability.</p>
<p>Some weapons are obtainable by continuing with the game plot, others are purchasable from the merchants, and others can be obtained from the purple chests. Below, I present the exact location of all the Final Fantasy VII Remake weapons, their ability, and where to find them.</p>

<h3>Buster Sword</h3>

<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> This is Cloud&#8217;s starting weapon and will be equipped automatically.</li>

<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 1</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> This is Barret&#8217;s starting weapon and will be equipped automatically.</li>

<h3>Leather Gloves</h3>

<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Divekick</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 3</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> This is Tifa&#8217;s starting weapon and will be equipped automatically.</li>

<h3>Iron Blade</h3>

<li><strong>Character:</strong> Cloud</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Triple Slash</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 3</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; A Job for the Neighborhood Watch. This is an automatic reward that will be awarded to you in the weapon shop.</li>

<h3>Metal Knuckles</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Overpower</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 5</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Secret Passageway. As soon as you have defeated the Crab Warden, it will be awarded as a reward.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Light Machine Gun</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Barret</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Lifesaver</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 6</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> This will be assigned to you for completing the chapter.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Sonic Strikers</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Focused Strike</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 7</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Sentenced to Death. Using this Final Fantasy 7 guide, you will find a purple chest in the left corner of the room. You cannot get confused, as the color of the trunk highlights it compared to any other object.</li>

<h3>Guard Stick</h3>

<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 8</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> This is Aerith’s starting weapon and will be equipped automatically.</li>

<h3>Silver Staff</h3>

<li><strong>Character:</strong> Aerith</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Sorcerous Storm</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 8</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Requests for the Mercenary. This weapon will be available for purchase from Moggie the Moogle Medal Merchant</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nail Bat</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Cloud</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Disorder</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 8</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Requests for the Mercenary / Quest &#8211; Kids on Patrol. You will get this weapon as an automatic reward for completing the side quest.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Hardedge</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Cloud</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Infinity&#8217;s End</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 9</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; To Corneo&#8217;s Mansion. You can buy this weapon at the Wall Market weapon shop.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Arcane Scepter</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Aerith</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Fleeting Familiar</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 9</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Parting Ways / Quest &#8211; A Dynamite Body &; Shears&#8217; Counterattack. This weapon will be awarded to you for completing one of the previously mentioned side quests.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Feathered Gloves</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Starshower</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 10</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Follow the Waterway. Using this Final Fantasy VII guide, after draining the water in the first aqueduct, crouch down and enter the lock that has opened. There you will find a purple chest with this weapon inside.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Mythril Rod</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Aerith</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Ray of Judgment</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 11</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Someone&#8217;s There. After passing through an entire train car, to continue on with the game plot you have to climb a ladder on the left. Instead of doing this, take the road on the right, which will take you to another wagon and, more specifically, to a purple chest with this weapon inside.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Bladed Staff</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Aerith</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Lustrous Shield</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 11</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Back Amongst Friends. To obtain this weapon, you must use the &#8220;Steal&#8221; ability on the boss Eligor. The weapon in question is one of the easiest to miss! In case you should start the fight without having equipped the matter in question, pause the game, choose to exit the battle, and place it in one of the free slots, as there are no other way to get the weapon.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Big Bertha</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Barret</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Maximum Fury</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 13</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Checking on Friends. Using this Final Fantasy VII guide, after passing through the tunnel section, you will reach a new camp, with people at its side. You can buy the weapon in question at the Weapon Shop in Sector 7 slums.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Mythril Claws</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Chi Trap</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 13</li>
<li><strong>Where to get it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Finding Wedge. This weapon will be awarded to you for defeating the Failed Experiment boss.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Wrecking Ball</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Barret</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Smackdown</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 14</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Quest &#8211; Subterranean Menace. This weapon will be awarded as a reward for completing the side quest.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Steel Pincers</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Barret</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Charging Uppercut</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 14</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Area &#8211; Sector 5 Slums (Children&#8217;s Secret Hideout). This weapon will be available for purchase at Moggie the Moogle Medal vendor.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Mythril Saber</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Cloud</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Blade Burst</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 14</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Area &#8211; Wall Market. This weapon will be available for purchase at the weapons shop in Wall Market.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Purple Pain</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Tifa</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> True Strike</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 16</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Acquiring the Keycard. Using this Final Fantasy 7 guide, when you play with Tifa you will have to climb on lampposts to then reach the atrium. At this point, jump on one of the cars and, from here, jump on the walls to advance in the game plot. However, instead of going up the ladder, use the monkey bars on the right to reach the purple chest with the weapon inside.</li>
</ul>
<h3>EKG Cannon</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Barret</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Point Blank</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 16</li>
<li><strong>Where to Find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; A Helping Hand. After talking to the Mayor in his office, talk to the man named Hart, which you will find right in front of the office. Hart will sell you the weapon, but you need to pay the required amount and the EKG Cannon will be yours.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Reinforced Staff</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Aerith</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> ATB Ward</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 17</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; A Way Out. You will find this weapon in a purple chest on the main path.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Twin Stinger</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Character:</strong> Cloud</li>
<li><strong>Ability:</strong> Counterstance</li>
<li><strong>Chapter:</strong> 17</li>
<li><strong>Where to find it:</strong> Mission &#8211; Find the others. Using this Final Fantasy 7 guide, you will cross the room where you have to fight 3 waves of enemies. Immediately after exiting this room, you will find a purple chest to the left of the stairs on which you will have to climb as part of the story. This is in plain sight, it will be impossible not to see the chest.</li>
