Final Fantasy XV Composer Will Be At Gamescom

Final Fantasy XV composer Yoko Shimomura will be attending Gamescom this year.

According to KHInsider, Square Enix is offering 50 fans to meet Yoko Shimomura at the event. The website says that these people will be able to “ask Shimomura questions, have pictures taken with her, present their merchandise and leave with an autograph and win exclusive prizes.”

Yoko Shimomura is known for her composing work on the Kingdom Hearts series, the Mario and Luigi RPG series, and the Mana series. She is currently working on Final Fantasy XV.

Speaking of Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix has announced (via press release) that the game will be shown at the event with “a number of exciting stage presentations with many well-known guests and new insights into the much-awaited game.”

Perhaps with Shimomura being at the event, could we hear more of Final Fantasy XV and maybe Kingdom Hearts III‘s soundtracks? We’ll have to wait and see.

Gamescom 2015 runs from August 5th to August 9th. The first day is for the tradespeople and media.
