Final Fantasy XV is Fully Utilizing the Chocobo

<p><em>Final Fantasy XV <&sol;em>is getting quite the coverage in anticipation of its release&comma; and it still seems like there is so much we don&&num;8217&semi;t know about the game&period; In the latest piece of footage released&comma; the team at Square Enix has decided to show off one of the<em> Final Fantasy <&sol;em>universe&&num;8217&semi;s most prominent creatures&colon; the Chocobo&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Chocobo has been a mainstay in the franchise for a long time&comma; with spin-off games <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;en&period;wikipedia&period;org&sol;wiki&sol;Chocobo&lowbar;Racing">even happening<&sol;a>&period; One of my problems in recent memory has been that it just feels like the Chocobo is simply in the background now and lacks any real purpose&period; It is a living&comma; breathing creature in the <em>Final Fantasy <&sol;em>universe&comma; and it looks like <em>Final Fantasy XV <&sol;em>is well aware of that&period; The Chocobo in <em>XV <&sol;em>is shown off in great detail in the trailer above&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There is a lot of beautiful shots of scenery and the amazing lighting of the Luminous Engine&comma; but what is even better is how the game has managed to take the Chocobo and give him something to do&period; For one thing&comma; he seems like a great mode of transportation and will likely be a suitable replacement for a car when you need to go off-road&period; Then there is the combat&comma; where Chocobos do seem to have some effectiveness&period; We&&num;8217&semi;ll see how effective they actually are when the game releases&comma; but for now&comma; they do seem to be utilized more than in previous games&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Final Fantasy XV <&sol;em>releases on September 30th&comma; 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;lW5bEwT6ddw">Square Enix Japan YouTube<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
