Firewatch is coming out in one week, and finally pre-purchases for the highly anticipated debut game from Campo Santo are live on Steam and will be available on February 9th for purchase on the PlayStation Store. The game will retail at $19.99 and can be pre-purchased with a 10% discount on Steam right now. The title will also have a 10% discount for PlayStation Plus members when it launches on February 9th.
The indie game will also have its soundtrack released on Steam with a 10% discount, as well. For PS4 users, a theme has been made and will be made available separate from (and in a bundle with) the base game. There is a FAQ now available on the official website which contains more information regarding the game and its release.
The trailer above was also released alongside details of the pricing structure. Though it contains few details on the actual game itself – a quote from the FAQ cites “Firewatch is incredibly story driven! To tell you more would be to deprive you of the joy of discovery.” – the trailer does accentuate the beautiful artwork from Olly Moss one of the founding members of Campo Santo, and an extremely high profile artist and illustrator. Campo Santo is comprised of people behind The Walking Dead: Season 1, The Cave, Bioshock 2, Ori and the Blind Forest, and the list goes on. Firewatch will be available on February 9th, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
