Welcome to the third episode of First Encounter – Final Fantasy 7: Remake! First Encounter is where we play one or two hours of a game that we have never played before. This could mean one or two hours of fun fill pleasure or one/two hours of misery. Let’s roll that dice and found out!
Five long years of waiting, Final Fantasy 7: Remake is finally out for the world to hopefully enjoy. Does it live up to expectations? Will fans enjoy the new changes like the faster combat, more in-depth story, and updated models and outfits?
Keep in mind, the remake is taking an episodic format. That means this game doesn’t have the full story from the original. It only contains the Midgar storyline. The rest of the story will come later. However, we don’t know if the rest will come as DLC or a full price.
This isn’t a review of Final Fantasy 7: Remake. We are only playing the first hour of the game to form our first impressions of it. By the end of the one-hour playthrough; we give our thoughts about it.
