The cute yet incredibly challenging mobile game, Flappy Bird is being taking away from Google Play and Apple’s App store. Doug Nguyen announced his news through Twitter saying “it is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore” and “…I still make games”. The Piou Piou/ Super Mario mash-up brought in $50,000 a day through in-app advertising. Nguyen has already denied Nintendo suing him for taking Super Mario Bros. art for his game. If this is the case then why would an App developer give up that sort of cash? Perhaps it was the rise to fame that is getting the Vietnamese creator down. Nguyen has yet to announce the real reason behind taking Flappy Bird away but there is a possibility of him never revealing the truth.
