Flashback HD remake apparently coming to consoles and PC

<p>Evidence has emerged for the upcoming release of a high-definition remake of classic sci-fi platforming adventure <em>Flashback<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Originally released for the Amiga in 1992&comma; <em>Flashback<&sol;em> received a great deal of critical acclaim for its deep &lpar;for a platformer at the time&rpar; gameplay and fluid animation&comma; and the game was ported to a number of home computers and consoles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>French site <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gameblog&period;fr&sol;news&sol;33332-flashback-origins-sortira-sur-xbla-psn-et-pc-steam-voire-wii" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Gameblog<&sol;a> has posted what it claims to be the first image of the game&comma; and has stated that the HD remake will be titled <em>Flashback Origins<&sol;em>&comma; that it will feature all-new visuals&comma; and that it will be published by Ubisoft on PSN&comma; Xbox Live Arcade&comma; Wii U and PC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The original game was directed&comma; written&sol;designed and partially programmed by Paul Cuisset&comma; and he and his development studio VectorCell are said to be behind the development of the upcoming remake&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrack;Via&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;computerandvideogames&period;com&sol;387669&sol;flashback-hd-looks-set-for-consoles-and-pc&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">CVG<&sol;a>&rsqb;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
