Flow and Flower Soundtracks Coming to Vinyl

The team over at iam8bit have been securing lots of awesome game soundtracks on vinyl over the past year. I’ve talked in the past about their re-release of Killer Cuts on vinyl, and the beautiful Hyper Light Drifter soundtrack being released. Now thatgamecompany will have their entire catalog’s soundtracks available through the online shop as well. Both Flow and Flower are being issued on vinyl for the first time, to join the already released Journey soundtrack. Both vinyl will go on sale tomorrow, October 6th, at 11 AM PDT and ship in Q1 2017. Take a look at images of the vinyl releases below:

The Flower soundtrack was composed by Vincent Diamante, and the art for the vinyl was done by Filip Hodas. Hodas also worked on the Flow vinyl artwork, which is composed by Austin Wintory – best known for his work on Journey. Flower will set you back $35 USD, while Flow will cost $25 USD.

Both soundtracks are beautiful, though Flower is different in what it’s going for so has a much more beautiful sound to it. Flow is more about the ambience and atmosphere, I found. Either way, they’re both extremely pretty and I am a sucker for any vinyl that has some color on it. Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be picking this up, or what you think of the soundtracks for both games.
