The Force of Will collectable card game is gaining an animated film collection and the first one features Cthulhu.

Lovecraft’s Cthulhu is a ridiculously fun (and terrifying) way to start off the short films. The film collection will be six separate short animated movies released in Japanese theaters. The first movie is titled: L.S. and takes its lore from the Cthulhu myths.
Produced by YAMATOWORKS and directed by Shuhei Morita, the L.S. movie will premiere in Japanese theaters in 2018. The trailer above doesn’t reflect the bright colors or more anime-like characters that usually grace the card game. Yet, the game does have a darker and more horror-filled side when Cthulhu-creature types are concerned.
