Fortnite, which recently hit 45 million players with two million of those being concurrent, has added a new snipers-only mode.
Titled Sniper Shootout, this limited-time engagement will see players dropped onto the map, which recently received a fresh coat of paint as well as a number of new areas for players to shoot and loot, with only snipers and revolvers at their disposal–revolvers for those close range matchups. Of course, players will still have their trusty tool to take down trees, buildings and more, and they’ll still be able to build a humble fort or a vicious death trap.
This is the first appearance of Sniper Shootout and currently, there is no word on whether this mode will find itself in the regular rotation of game modes. Players can jump into this mode now until this Friday, Feb. 8.
