Fortnite Chapter 2: Epic Did it!

And it was epic...

Fortnite Chapter 2 Epic actually did it

At last, it seems that Epic Games knows what it’s creating. After the wave of controversies with Fortnite Season 10 and its overpowered mechs, the black hole has finally opened and sucked the entire game into timeless oblivion. And now, welcome to the brand new Chapter 2 Season 1. It’s the good old Fortnite Battle Royale that it was always meant to be! The blackout is over, so let’s take a closer look.

Check out the Chapter 2 Launch trailer:

The New Map

Fortnite Chapter 2 New Map…

The brand new island is neat and clean from anomalies, though, there’re more mountains and a galaxy of new exciting places to explore. Another remarkable landscape element is water. Now water inlets are scattered around the island, letting you swim and use the brand new vehicle, a boat, for fast traveling around the island. Moreover, you can go fishing off the Sweaty Sands pier right during the battle to complete a special challenge.

Updated Battle Pass

Epic promises “less grind” and much more fun with the new Battle Pass. As usual, it provides over a hundred or more unlockables and extends your account level count up to 250. Challenges were reworked to feel more rewarding too. Now you can earn medals for eliminating players and finding the right chests around. Medals automatically go to punch-cards that will boost your XP as soon as you fill them.

Fortnite Chapter 2 players will get an updated battle pass…

Many of the new skins, weapons, and emotes were introduced in the recent cinematic trailer (see above), and that’s quite all of them. You can already unlock new shotguns and a sniper rifle, but more arrays are about to come soon. By the way, the reloaded loot pool erased those numerous items, including chug jugs and launch pads, providing space for new cool stuff to come. Sounds yummy, doesn’t it?

If you’re a fan of the team mode, you will enjoy the comeback of solo, duo, and squad playlists. Even better, the trio mode is now the default option for the main battleground. Now you don’t have to ask your mom to be the 4th one!

Healing and Crafting

If you get a bazooka that shoots bandages, don’t ever shoot enemies with it! This baby came to let you heal your teammates distantly. You can also pick up wounded friends and carry them away from the shooting.

As for crafting, the new upgrade bench will help you to endow your guns and gear with more power. However, you’re supposed to fight for the right to enter and collect all necessary materials beforehand.

The Right Make-Up

Comparing Fornite Season 10 with Chapter 2 is night and day…

Perhaps, the first thing to notice in the Fortnite release trailer and the screenshot comparison above is the scaled up and enhanced graphics from season 10. If you like those graphics, make sure to check out GamesMojo.com. The updated textures are much more detailed and makes you feel more involved, along with the realistic lighting and shading. If you didn’t want to play Fortnite before because it made you feel like you were playing a Toy Story, or cartoonish style game, forget that, with the new and improve look you should give it try.

All For The Best

With Chapter 2, Fortnite achieved solid prospects to become even better than it used to be in late 2017. We had no hopes for that, but, finally, after 10 seasons and loads of experiments, Fortnite feels like the right battle royale that we always wanted to play. Hopefully, Epic won’t spoil their ultimate chance to start again. As for now, it’s perfect.
