Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is now out and, consequently, it’s time for the DLC roll out. Fortunately, as Katsuhiro Harada promised, all of this upcoming DLC is free for everyone who redeemed their online pass. And it’s a good thing that they are free because all of this DLC is looking great.
There are six new characters inbound. Unknown, playable in the game for the first time; Violet, Lee’s flamboyant counterpart; Dr. Boskonovitch, who’s most recent actions in the Tekken universe are as the creator of Alisa Boskonovitch; Surimubobu, which translates as “Slim Bob” and is exactly what it says on the tin; Sebastian, Lili’s loyal butler and Miharu who dedicated Tekken fans will recognise as Xiaoyu’s friend from Tekken 4 who literally hasn’t been seen since.
As for the new stages, we have “Saudi Arabia”, “Russia”, “Chile” and “Magic Show”. See if you can spot the odd one out, there. It’s not all being released at once, the DLC is being staggered out over the next few months, but the first DLC drops on October 9th.
