Full Throttle Remastered Trailer Introduces a World of Bikers and Betrayal

Full Throttle came out back in 1995 and was the first project where esteemed developer, Tim Schafer, took sole leadership. The game was announced last year as being remastered and coming to PS4, Vita and PC. Full Throttle Remastered will be at PlayStation Experience this year, and will release in 2017. But for those who can’t wait, below is a new trailer that shows off the game’s touched up graphics and audio.

Full Throttle Remastered is the third game that Double Fine has re-released from the LucasArts days. Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered were both exceptionally well done, and helped fix a few of the problems that plagued the game’s back in the day or simply didn’t feel modern. This will be no different as players will get to experience both the original and remastered versions of Full Throttle, just as was the case with the other games.

Included in the remaster will be updated graphics and audio, as well as new user interface options. Players can mix-and-match features from the original and remastered until they are content with the experience. The game will also feature a commentary track fro the game’s creators, on top of a new concept art browser to explore.

I never played Full Throttle back in the day, but Grim Fandango was one of my favourite games growing up. Seeing as how both Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango had really good remasters, I will be playing Full Throttle Remastered as soon as possible.
