Funcom Announces Music Competition for The Secret World

<p>Funcom has announced a new competition giving people the opportunity to have their original musical creations appear in dark fantasy massively multiplayer online game <em>The Secret World<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The press release states&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>&&num;8220&semi;The Get Your Music In The Game competition has just started for <em>The Secret World<&sol;em>&period; Members of the community are encouraged to submit their own music creations for consideration&comma; and the winners will get to have their contributions shared in-game with thousands and thousands of other players&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>The winning musical pieces will be included in the game&&num;8217&semi;s real-world areas such as diners&comma; shops&comma; bars&comma; nightclubs&comma; and other fitting locations &&num;8220&semi;where modern music can be heard&&num;8221&semi;&comma; and all players will be able to hear the chosen pieces of music&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Submitted entries will be evaluated by Funcom Audio Director Simon Poole&comma; who will also be the main judge for the competition&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;There are a lot of talented and dedicated people in the community&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Poole&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>&&num;8220&semi;and we are lucky to have a game like The Secret World where their music can fit in perfectly&period; We already have many artists contributing with their music to the game&comma; and to now give players the opportunity to let their music sound across the radios of The Secret World is even more exciting&period;”<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>The competition rules can be found <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thesecretworld&period;com&sol;news&sol;get&lowbar;your&lowbar;music&lowbar;in&lowbar;the&lowbar;game" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">here<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
