Today Oslo based developer Funcom announced their next project. The Park is a horror game that puts the player in control of Lorraine, whose life turns into a nightmare when her son Callum goes missing in an amusement park.
Not much is known about the actual gameplay yet, but Funcom released a teaser trailer, as well as some screenshots to set the mood of the game. The Park is a single player experience however, which is not that common for the Norwegian developer who was behind MMORPG’s such as, Lego Minifigures Online, Age of Conan: Unchained, and The Secret World. As a matter of fact, the last single player game the studio developed was Dreamfall: The Longest Journey back in 2006.
The Park is set to be released sometime in October 2015 for PC so expect more information to surface soon.
