Funimation recently announced that it will stream the second season of Megalo Box, titled Megalo Box 2: Nomad sometime in April 2021. A key visual and new trailer was also revealed.

The anime’s original staff will return for the second season. The staff includes You Morimiya as director, Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojim as writers, and mabanua as music composer. TMS Entertainment is in charge of the animation production. The first season of Megalo Box premiered on April 6, 2018 and was created in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the manga series Ashita no Joe.
