Earlier today G4TV announced that their two longest-running series, Attack of the Show! and X-Play will no longer air after the end of the year. They stated that both shows will continue to air new episodes until the end of the year. The remaining episodes will feature guest co-hosts, including: John Barrowman, Michael Ian Black, Josh Myers, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and Horatio Sanz will join AOTS hosts Candace Baily and Sara Underwood as well as Morgan Webb and Blair Herter.

Rumors have been floating around for the past few months about a network re-branding. G4TV confirmed the station will be going through a complete rebranding in 2013. No reason for the show cancellation or re-branding has been given.

X-Play first existed as Gamespot TV in 1998, meaning that the show has run for a venerable 14 years. Attack of the Show premiered in 2005 and ran for seven years.

We here at BagoGames wish everyone affected the best and hope something comes your way soon.
