Video game retailer GAME will be offering free Pokémon to help UK players complete their Pokédexes starting on April 4th. GAME will give out free codes to enter into the games. Pokémon X players will receive the fire-type Pokémon Magmar, while Pokémon Y players will receive the electric-type Pokémon Electabuzz. Each Pokémon also comes bearing a gift; namely the item necessary for them to evolve. Magmar comes with the Magmarizer while Electabuzz comes with the Electrizer, which evolve them into Magmortar and Electivire, respectively. The Pokémon must be traded while holding the items to trigger their evolution.
The codes must be redeemed by September 30th, 2014.
GAME will also be giving out free “Pokémon TCG sampling packs” while stocks last, which include a special foil Pikachu card along with one randomly selected common card from the Pokémon XY expansion.
