Ever since news of Super Smash Bros for the Wii U, gamers have asked if the game was compatible with the iconic GameCube controllers. Nintendo of America released an image of an official GameCube Controller Adapter to be used with the Wii U!!!
Based on the image it seems the adapter requires the use of two USB ports on the front of the Wii U. The adapter can hook up to four GameCube controllers. This news is what SSB fans have been waiting to hear. It also offers hope that the adapter can possibly be used for Virtual Console games.
