<p><span style&equals;"font-family&colon; Georgia&semi; color&colon; &num;333333&semi;">Welcome to Games for Breakfast&comma; a new feature series here on BagoGames&excl;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-family&colon; Georgia&semi; color&colon; &num;333333&semi;">Games for Breakfast&comma; written by Features Editor Angelo De Bellis&comma; is a daily opinion piece of about 250-500 words—I gotta keep it brief—that engages topical game news&period; Every new post will go live at<span class&equals;"apple-converted-space"> <&sol;span>9am<span class&equals;"apple-converted-space"> <&sol;span>EST so that you can grab your cup of coffee and read a brief account of a particular gamer’s take on the latest goings-on in the industry&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<hr &sol;>&NewLine;<p>Yesterday&&num;8217&semi;s news of the 2017 Electronic Entertainment Expo being open to the public was somewhat alarming&comma; though expected&period; With the rise in fan news from social media sources like YoutTube and Twitch&comma; it was only a matter of time that such exposure would be considered just an important as expert opinions driven by professional games journalists&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>And while I see nothing wrong with enthusiast-driven content&comma; I wonder how E3 will be kept organized with such an influx&period; Traditional media has certainly changed&comma; and in many ways that&&num;8217&semi;s a good thing&&num;8211&semi;it means there are more opinions out there for your reading&sol;viewing pleasure&comma; there are more discussions&comma; and there are more fail-safes keeping everyone in the industry honest&period; But I worry that&comma; as an enormous event&comma; inviting the general public may prevent both professionals and non-professionals alike from getting the appropriate coverage&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As a Canadian journalist&comma; I have yet to have the pleasure of attending E3&comma; so I really can&&num;8217&semi;t comment on the organization that goes into herding the crowds along&comma; but simply from watching streams and such&comma; it&&num;8217&semi;s apparent that a lot can go wrong&period; Perhaps they had it right last year&comma; when the public was invited but they were separated from the main event&period; Though the streets and pathways between buildings may have been completely clogged&comma; the sanctioning hopefully benefited all attendees eager for content&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>What do you think&quest; Do you like the amalgam of journalists&comma; enthusiasts&comma; and fans all in one center for E3 2017&quest; Are you excited just to have the opportunity to attend&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
