<p><span style&equals;"font-family&colon; Georgia&semi; color&colon; &num;333333&semi;">Welcome to Games for Breakfast&comma; a new feature series here on BagoGames&excl;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-family&colon; Georgia&semi; color&colon; &num;333333&semi;">Games for Breakfast&comma; written by Features Editor Angelo De Bellis&comma; is a daily opinion piece of about 250-500 words—I gotta keep it brief—that engages topical game news&period; Every new post will go live at<span class&equals;"apple-converted-space"> <&sol;span>9am<span class&equals;"apple-converted-space"> <&sol;span>EST so that you can grab your cup of coffee and read a brief account of a particular gamer’s take on the latest goings-on in the industry&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<hr &sol;>&NewLine;<p>Good morning and Happy Valentine’s Day&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>When it comes to Valentine’s&comma; I begin thinking about all the games imbued with love&period; Not love as in crafted with care&comma; but love as in games containing suggestive themes&comma; romance&comma; passion&comma; and &period; &period; &period; you get where I’m going&period; Such thoughts lead me to thinking about a classic puzzler&comma; one that many may have missed&comma; and one that really embarks on an exploration of what it means to be dedicated&colon; <em>Catherine<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This 2011 title had the most intricate storyline for a puzzler&period; If you just watched the gameplay videos of a guy in his boxers pulling and pushing leagues of stacked blocks&comma; you’d probably have a hard time imagining that he was having an upside down nightmare&comma; grasping onto his pillow in fright of falling into the abyss&period; Yes&comma; Vincent was indeed fighting for his life&comma; traversing a suspended blocks to make his way out of the dirty pit that was unfaithfulness&period; He wasn’t being truthful to his girlfriend Katherine&comma; vying instead to gain the affection of the new&comma; hot blonde he meets in the city bar&comma; Catherine&period; It all ends with an interesting tale about a man’s anxieties of marriage and committance&comma; and his willingness to go the distance to salvage his relationship&&num;8211&semi;and his life&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>If you haven’t yet played <em>Catherine<&sol;em> or haven’t even heard of it&comma; I hope my odd little explanation of it will nudge you in the right direction—if you like puzzles and story&comma; I&&num;8217&semi;m certain you’ll love it&period; In any case&comma; let me know what video game&lpar;s&rpar; you think of when it comes to Valentine’s Day&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
