Nintendo has revealed the download sizes of a batch of upcoming Switch games, and they’re looking pretty chunky.

If you take look here at the list I grabbed from ign.com and taken from Nintendo’s website you’ll find that your included 32GB SD card is sure to fill up fast:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 13.4 GB

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 7 GB

Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together! – 1.60 GB

Disgaea 5 – 5.92 GB

Puyo Puyo Tetris – 1.09 GB

I Am Setsuna – 1.40 GB

Dragon Quest Heroes I·II – 32 GB

Nobunaga’s Ambition – 5 GB

Let’s say you plan on picking up some of these games on launch like Zelda and Snipperclips–with just those two games you are well on your way to depleting your space, especially given the chunk eaten by the Switch OS (about 6GB). Though it’s not a terrible predicament to be in, it’s a bit frustrating to have to go out and buy additional storage on launch. By doing so, you are effectively paying more for the console than most would expect to pay when grabbing a new piece of kit.

Of course if you opt out of buying digital, you can avoid this whole mess. But I have a feeling that the Switch’s attractive portable features will have you much more comfortable carrying just the console around sans carts. That and it appears that the unboxing video that what let out last week confirmed that digital purchases will now be, at last, tied to an account system.
