Earlier this past spring, a leaked Gamestop promotion revealed a Skylanders trade-in program, allowing gamers to cash-in on their old Skylanders figurines for a few bucks of in-store credit at select retailers.
Now the store chain is reportedly accepting both Skylanders and Disney Infinity figures in a similar deal. The news comes just in time for Disney Infinity 2.0‘s launch today, starring the Disney’s and Marvel’s The Avengers, as well as the latest Skylanders entry, Trap Team.
