Arrowhead Game Studios is working on a substantial update for their Gauntlet reboot. Emil Englund, Gauntlet‘s director, has promised that this major content addition will include a new game mode. It will also improve the Campaign and Colosseum modes.
“In truth, we were never fully satisfied with how Gauntlet turned out,” said Englund. “So, rather than just fixing little things here and there, we have been working on the core of the game to turn it into what we originally envisioned.”
Englund did not say when the update would be released but it is probably a few months away. I gave Gauntlet a 7/10 in my review so the game certainly has areas that need improving.
