Gearbox Announces a “Demake” 16-Bit Game Entitled “The Border Lands”

<p>2K Games and gearbox Software have announced they are in production of a 16-bit version of their popular Borderlands franchise&period; The companies will be teaming up with BAFTA-winning creative agency&comma; Ralph to assist in production of the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game will be entitled <em>The Border Lands<&sol;em> and &&num;8220&semi;offers a tantalizing glimpse into the origins of many elements still present in today’s hit franchise&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Gearbox explains the game as &&num;8220&semi;a late 1980’s gaming theme in mind and to coincide with the launch&comma;&&num;8221&semi; and even included a 1980&&num;8217&semi;s style <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;X5JHBdcNu6g" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">promotional video<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>People will be able to play the game for free at <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wubwub&period;eu&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;new">www&period;wubwub&period;eu<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
