After catching a considerable amount of flak, in the past, for their somewhat weak stories, the guys at Epic Games have enlisted the assistance of Pixar’s story development crew for the upcoming Gears of War: Judgement. The dev team at Epic recently attended a one-day workshop by Pixar’s story director. This was in an effort to flesh out characters more, as Pixar has done so masterfully in the past. With developers Epic and People Can Fly looking to improve their characterization, expect to see more than the usual man-grunts and oorah’s from Baird and Cole Train as they take the spotlight in Gears of War: Judgement, when it releases early next year.
