<p>Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, has announced on Twitter that Kiefer Sutherland, the voice of Big Boss in <em>Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes</em> and<em> Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain</em>, will be in attendance at the event tonight.</p>
<p>Hideo Kojima, <em>Metal Gear Solid</em> creator and director, is also appearing at The Game Awards, as the Japanese developer is preparing to unveil the <a title="New Metal Gear Solid Online Will Debut At VGA 2014" href="https://bagogames.com/new-metal-gear-solid-online-will-debut-vga-2014/" target="_blank">world premiere of <em>Metal Gear Online</em></a> &#8212; a multiplayer component previously integrated in Kojima’s critically acclaimed <em>Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots</em>.</p>

<p>Rumours have been circulating that further news will be announced on <em>The Phantom Pain </em>during the event &#8212; outside of the reveal of <em>Metal Gear Online</em>, obviously &#8212; with many believing that Kojima will possibly be confirming a release date for the highly anticipated open-world stealth title.</p>
<p>Keighley also confirmed that Imagine Dragons, best known for their hit single &#8220;Radioactive,&#8221; are putting on a performance at the event, while British musician <a title="EA TEAMS WITH KIDINAKORNER/INTERSCOPE RECORDS TO DELIVER HEART-POUNDING TITLE TRACK FOR BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE" href="http://www.gamespress.com/release.asp?c=7f2400--119507" target="_blank">Jamie N Commons will be singing the song</a> that he has recorded specifically for Visceral Games’ Battlefield Hardline, “Karma.”</p>
