Get Your Hands on Snake’s Hand in MGS V’s Collector’s Edition

It was just yesterday that we learned of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s autumn release by happenstance and now Konami’s apparently willing to give us a hand for our patience – at least, a model one, that is.

The game will be releasing with Collector’s Editions and a Day One edition with added content for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. The editions (including the Steam edition) will include a variety of in-game and physical goodies, namely a metal (and working) replica of Big Boss’s artificial hand.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will launch the same day as Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max – September 1st – for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. The PC version will arrive two weeks later on September 15th.

The game’s standard versions for X1, PS4, and PC will sell for $59.99 while their collector’s editions will sell at $99.99.

By contrast, MGS V‘s Xbox 360 and PS3’s versions will sell for $10 cheaper at just $49.99 as standard versions only.
