Ghost Song: A Journey of Hope is a game that has integrated a game play style that is highly motivated by classic Super Metroid and the game Dark Souls. The game is being developed by Matt White and the main Kickstarter goal was set at $15,000. Currently, that goal has been surpassed and sits at a total of $21,326 with 25 days left and the final funding date is set for September 4. If an amount of $60,000 is reached as a stretch goal, then the possibility of having a Wii U version is much higher then if its not met. In a previous statement regarding a Wii U version, White said that every backer who made a donation of $15 or early bidders who donated $10 would get an eShop key for the game. However, there has been some confusion regarding a Wii U version and the game key, which White has addressed on the Kickstarter site.

“Wii U is a stretch goal. We won’t be promising a Wii U version unless we meet that stretch goal. IF, we meet the Wii U goal, there will be new tiers made available related to getting the Wii U key,” stated White.

Right now the game is slated for release on Mac, PC, and Linux only. You can check out a trailer for the game below.
