Because one goat simply isn’t enough, Coffee Stain Studios has announced a free update scheduled for mid-May that will add new playable goats, a new map, and local splitscreen multiplayer.

Armin Ibrisagic of Coffee Stain said:

A lot of people have been asking for DLC with new maps for Goat Simulator, but we would feel bad charging people for DLC content when people can just download new stuff for free from the Steam Workshop, so we decided to do a free update instead

The 1.1 update will have a new map “roughly the size of the original vanilla map” and the game will be updated with new achievements. There are no details on nature of the multiplayer, it could be co-operative, competitive, or just free-for-all multi-goat mayhem.
