We can now confirm that the release for God Of War: Ascension will launch next year on March 12th. This is one of Sony’s strongest, not to mention longest, running franchises on the PlayStation and will now have a multiplayer mode. There is not much information available yet, but more information will be released closer to launch.
They unveiled the single gameplay demo at this year’s E3, and we got our first glimpse of Kratos in action, doing what he does best. Hacking and slashing his way through mobs of enemies and taking down a Titan or two. New gameplay mechanics and combat systems have been implemented into the game.
Just like in God Of War fashion there will be a collector’s edition of the game for the hardcore God Of War fan. Detail’s were given over on the PlayStation Blog about the Ultimate bundle.
