God of War: Ascension isn’t supposed to come out until March of next year, but that doesn’t mean it’s Collector’s Edition can’t be dangled in front of our faces. Yeah, it’s just a picture of it, but you know what I mean.
Coming in at $79.99, God of War: Ascension’s Collector’s Edition comes with: the game (I’d hope), the game’s soundtrack, a PS3 Dynamic Theme and Avatar Pack, a Multiplayer 2x XP Unlock, a pass for future DLC, a steelbook case, a statue of the angry man himself and a nice, big, God of War-y box to keep it all in.
Additionally, if you pre-order the Collector’s Edition or the Standard Edition, you’ll be treated with the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack, which gives you four extra characters to play as in multiplayer.
Its been pretty quiet when it comes to anything from the actual game, but the PlayStation Blog teases something big coming on the 15h (Monday). So you should probably check back then and not anytime before that (or you’ll ruin the surprise?), I guess.
God of War: Ascension releases on March 12, 2013.
