Sci-fi shooter Liberation Maiden has been released on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
Published by Level-5, Liberation Maiden was designed by Goichi Suda, a.k.a. Suda 51, the creative driving force behind development house Grasshopper Manufacture and games such as Killer 7, No More Heroes, and the upcoming Killer Is Dead.
Liberation Maiden was originally one of four games included in the Nintendo 3DS compilation title Guild01, but is now receiving its own individual release on iOS devices. A press release states that the iOS version of the game features “stunning high-definition visuals, fully voiced English audio, and several exclusive iOS-only enhancements such as Game Center features and achievements, controls designed for the touchscreen, and graphics optimized for the beautiful Retina Display.”
“We are excited to be bringing an amazing, high-quality game like LIBERATION MAIDEN to iOS devices, providing a full-fledged handheld video game experience for mobile phone and tablet users,” said Akihiro Hino, President and CEO of Level-5.
Liberation Maiden is available now via the App Store, priced at $4.99 / €4.49 / £2.99.
