The Good Dinosaur Gives Us a Look Into the Adorable Past

It’s a good year to be a dinosaur – and even better to be a good one. While the world’s throwing their dollars at the bad ones chasing Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard this summer, Pixar reminds us that it’s got a prehistoric tale to tell too, one about a boy, his apatosaurus, and the power of interspecies friendship.

In a world where the dinosaurs survived, humans and dinosaurs have learned to live together – albeit it with some culture shock. One day, an orphan dino named Arlo loses his way home and meets a young cave boy he names “Spot.” Together, the two must venture over the Clawed Tooth Mountains to Arlo’s home.

The Good Dinosaur opens in UK theaters this Nov. 27th and Nov. 25th in the USA. The Peter Sohn-directed film stars Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Geoffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, Steve Zahn, A.J. Buckley Sam Elliot, Anna Paquin and about a dozen smiles.
