XSEED is full of surprises. Thanks to them, players will now see a boss battle in the RPG mode of Granblue Fantasy Versus. Today, on the official Granblue Fantasy: Versus Twitter account, players got to see gameplay footage from one of the boss fights.
For those unaware, the game’s RPG mode will allow players to experience the game as an action RPG complete with an original story, beautiful cutscenes, and massive boss battles. The original story and massive boss fights are the main attraction behind this game mode. According to the game’s official website:
Granblue Fantasy: Versus introduces a brand new story featuring your favorite Granblue Fantasy characters. Chaos has befallen the Sky Realm, leaving Gran with no choice but to fight against his former allies. In order for him to identify the source of the growing havoc and save his comrades, the airship Grandcypher takes flight once again into uncharted skies.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is due out for PlayStation 4 on February 6, 2020 in Japan. A western release is planned by publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe, but has yet to be dated.
