GTA: Vice City will be digitally rereleased next week on the PlayStation Store.

Rockstar’s 1980s-set open-world crime epic was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2002, with a release on Xbox and PC the following year, and the game remains a favourite among fans of the Grand Theft Auto series.

Released as part of the PS2 Classics range, the game will be available on the North American PS Store on Tuesday, 29th January at the price of $9.99, and then the European PS Store the following day at the price of €9.99 / £7.99.

GTA: Vice City isn’t the first Rockstar game to see a digital rerelease on PSN and apparently won’t be the last, with Rockstar stating,

“Stay tuned for more classic Rockstar titles coming for download to PSN in the weeks and months ahead.”
