The Last Guardian News Update

<p><em><a title&equals;"wika" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;en&period;wikipedia&period;org&sol;wiki&sol;The&lowbar;Last&lowbar;Guardian" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">The Last Guardian<&sol;a><&sol;em> was announced back at E3 2009&comma; but here is something you might not know&semi; <em>The Last Guardian <&sol;em>began development not long after <em><a title&equals;"Wika" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;en&period;wikipedia&period;org&sol;wiki&sol;Shadow&lowbar;of&lowbar;the&lowbar;Colossus" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Shadow of the Colossus<&sol;a><&sol;em> was released in North America and Japan in October 2005&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This puts the game at a development time roughly at 5 to 6 years&period; In that time we have seen Sony first party developers publish full game trilogies in that time&period; Uncharted&comma; Killzone and  Resistance all began around the same time and are now finished and moved on&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s really hard to believe that this game hasn&&num;8217&semi;t been released yet&period; What we wouldn&&num;8217&semi;t give to be a fly on the wall at that studio&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>At E3 today the question was asked to Shuhei Yoshida about the games current health and he responded with this comment&period; &&num;8220&semi;There are some technical issues being addressed&period; There’s not much to show what it looks like&comma;&&num;8221&semi; he told Game Informer&period; &&num;8220&semi;This period of time we are unable to give an update&comma; but the game is still in development&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Check out the E3 2009 video for <em>The Last Guardian <&sol;em><br &sol;>&NewLine;<iframe src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;EHzHoMT5eRg" frameborder&equals;"0" width&equals;"590" height&equals;"332"><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There is still no definitive date for <em>The Last Guardian&comma; <&sol;em>but if we hear anything we will be sure to let you all know&period; Let us know what your thoughts are on the topic by dropping a comment below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lpar;VIA <a title&equals;"Game Informer" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gameinformer&period;com&sol;b&sol;news&sol;archive&sol;2012&sol;06&sol;05&sol;the-last-guardian-still-coming-along&period;aspx" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">GameInformer<&sol;a>&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
