Guardians of the Galaxy Getting the Telltale Treatment

<p>It perhaps isn&&num;8217&semi;t shocking at all that <em>Guardians of the Galaxy <&sol;em>has been officially announced as being the next project from Telltale Games&period; Revealed at The Game Awards last night&comma; Marvel will be teaming up with Telltale to create a five-part episodic series centered around the popular characters&period; No word on a voice cast or exact release date besides 2017&comma; but expect to hear more soon&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><amp-youtube layout&equals;"responsive" width&equals;"500" height&equals;"281" data-videoid&equals;"Koy&lowbar;e&lowbar;ipwng" title&equals;"&&num;039&semi;Marvel&&num;039&semi;s Guardians of the Galaxy - The Telltale Series&&num;039&semi; Official Teaser"><a placeholder href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;Koy&lowbar;e&lowbar;ipwng"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;i&period;ytimg&period;com&sol;vi&sol;Koy&lowbar;e&lowbar;ipwng&sol;hqdefault&period;jpg" layout&equals;"fill" object-fit&equals;"cover" alt&equals;"&&num;039&semi;Marvel&&num;039&semi;s Guardians of the Galaxy - The Telltale Series&&num;039&semi; Official Teaser"><&sol;a><&sol;amp-youtube><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The reason it isn&&num;8217&semi;t really that shocking of an announcement&comma; is two-fold&period; First&comma; it was <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;polygon&period;com&sol;2016&sol;11&sol;14&sol;13625484&sol;telltale-guardians-of-the-galaxy-game-marvel">recently rumored<&sol;a> that Marvel would be teaming with Telltale for a <em>Guardians of the Galaxy <&sol;em>game&period; But secondly&comma; and perhaps most obviously&comma; is that the Guardians fit perfectly into a Telltale adventure &&num;8211&semi; characters that make jokes on a regular basis&comma; find themselves in over-the-top action scenes&comma; and are anchored in a visually interesting world&period; Think <em>Tales from the Borderlands <&sol;em>but with Marvel characters&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As I mentioned&comma; there is no mention of a voice cast yet&comma; but I somehow doubt you&&num;8217&semi;ll get the full cast if any&period; The only series that seemed to manage to gather actors from the pre-existing project to lend their voices was the <em>Game of Thrones <&sol;em>venture they did&period; Otherwise&comma; its mostly just been notable voice actors&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Let us know in the comments below though if you&&num;8217&semi;re excited for another Telltale game&comma; especially one focused on <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;telltale&period;com&sol;news&sol;2016&sol;12&sol;announcing-marvel-s-guardians-of-the-galaxy-the-telltale-series-for-2017&sol;">Telltale Blog Post<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
