Gun Master Mode is Coming to Battlefield 4 Tomorrow

DICE’s next patch for Battlefield 4 will be released on May 26 and includes Gun Master mode. The patch will also improve client stability and add five new weapons including a new LMG, a new sidearm and a new carbine.

Gun Master is an 8v8 mode based on the Gun Game mod for Counter Strike. It first appeared in the Close Quarters DLC for Battlefield 3. In Gun Master, each player is given a new weapon every time they achieve two consecutive kills. The first player to kill an opponent with the final weapon is the winner. You can watch this mode in action in the video below.

Players can choose from five different weapons lists when playing Gun Master.  While Standard and Classic use weapons of all varieties, Pistol only has sidearms and DLC only uses weapons from past expansion packs.

The final weapon list is Troll. “Seeing how Gun Master is a “party mode”, we had to make a silly weapon list too,” said David Sirland, one of the game’s producers. “This one starts out with ballistic shields (as weapons) and it’s downhill from there.”

Battlefield 4 is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
