<p><a class="zem_slink" title="GungHo Online Entertainment" href="http://www.gungho.co.jp/" target="_blank" rel="homepage">GungHo Online Entertainment</a> has issued a press release today stating that they have acquired <a class="zem_slink" title="Grasshopper Manufacture" href="http://www.grasshopper.co.jp/" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Grasshopper Manufacture</a> Inc., which is led by <a class="zem_slink" title="Goichi Suda" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goichi_Suda" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Goichi Suda</a> (SUDA51). Current games being developed by Grasshopper before the acquisition will continue under their current publishing deals.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Suda&#8217;s studio joins <i>Ragnarok</i> developer GRAVITY, <i>Lunar</i> and <i>Grandia</i> creator <a class="zem_slink" title="Game Arts" href="http://www.gamearts.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Game Arts</a>, and <i>Tenchu</i> developer <a class="zem_slink" title="Acquire (game developer)" href="http://www.acquire.co.jp/" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Acquire</a> to become the fourth studio to join under the GOE umbrella. Fan&#8217;s of Suda51 games have nothing to fear, since all titles published by GOE are published and supported by GungHo Online Entertainment America.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but more information on upcoming Grasshopper projects will be revealed in the coming months.</p>
