Penguins on Aeolia – To boldly go where no penguin has gone before&&num;8221&semi; &&num;8211&semi;<&sol;em><&sol;strong> <strong><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;wololo&period;net&sol;2015&sol;12&sol;23&sol;will-fail0verflow-announce-a-ps4-hack-at-ccc-this-year&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">Wololo<&sol;a><&sol;strong> &lpar;<strong><em>DECEMBER 23&comma; 2015&rpar;&period;<&sol;em><&sol;strong> The group managed to run a custom version of what appeared to be <strong>Yellow Dog Linux<&sol;strong> &lpar;or <strong>Ubunto<&sol;strong>&rpar;&&num;8230&semi; take everything I say about Linux with a grain of salt as the last time I used it was back when the PS3 still had the <em><strong>&&num;8220&semi;OtherOS&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;em> function&comma; After all&comma; the system has been out since November 2013 and within two years fail0verflow has managed to create a low level system hack that either exploited or circumvented the existing security measures&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; the best part of all of this is the fact that the video shows they were even able to emulate <strong><em>Pokemon Emerald<&sol;em><&sol;strong> which was also hacked and labelled as <em><strong>&&num;8220&semi;Pokemon Playstation Version&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;98043" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-98043" style&equals;"width&colon; but I&&num;8217&semi;d go so far as to say if you &lpar;being Sony&rpar; implement a feature in your consoles then it should stay there&period; This is a question to you&comma; the reader&comma; seeing as the <strong>OtherOS<&sol;strong> function can be brought back on the PS3 console via <strong>Custom Firmware<&sol;strong> &lpar;CFW&rpar; could it be possible to port <strong>SteamOS<&sol;strong> or incorporate the base functions into the Yellow Dog Linux kernal to work on PS3&quest; It&&num;8217&semi;s an interesting idea that someone should work on&comma;
