Halo 4 War Games Pass & Upcoming Map Packs Detailed

Like with all AAA games that plan on giving consumers a reason to not trade in their game a week later, Halo 4 is getting its own Season Pass, but has instead opted to call it the War Games Map Pass to avoid confusion.

The War Games Map Pass will cost you $24.99 (2,000 MS Points) and will cover the cost of the three map packs -Crimson, Majestic and, Castle- that are scheduled to release during the months of December, February and April, respectively.

People that take the jump and buy the pass will be given two in-game helmets, as well as a special in-game emblem to show off your ability to save money. Those that purchase the Halo 4 Limited Edition won’t have to worry about buying the War Games Pass, as it will already be included.

The Map Packs, as detailed on Major Nelson’s Blog, will each come with three maps (totaling in 9, if you don’t feel like doing math) and are said to provide “classic Halo combat and exciting ways to experience the new feature-set of Halo Infinity Multiplayer”:

Halo 4 has a release date of November 6th and don’t forget to check out the game’s launch gameplay trailer.
