Halo 5: Guardians proves that two heads are better than one – especially when one of them is Nathan Fillion’s.
Just shy of two months ahead of launch, Microsoft has dropped us a look at Halo 5’s explosive opening cinematic complete with title card and some of the game’s biggest stars minus a certain Master Chief Petty Officer. In it, Spartans Jameson Locke (Halo Nightfall‘s Mike Colter) and Edward Buck (Firefly‘s Nathan Fillion) lead Fireteam Osiris deploy to nab a high value target for the UNSC and shake hands with a mess of Covenant and Promethean forces.
The exploits of Fireteam Osiris will be a part of the longest Halo campaign yet, reportedly clocking in at twice the length of Halo 4.
Halo 5: Guardians releases this Oct. 27th only on Xbox One with a limited edition console bundle in the style of the Spartans available for pre-order.
