From Thunder Lotus Games, the makers of Jutron, comes their newest game: Sundered.
Sundered is a hand-drawn adventure game that tests players. You will play as Eshe and fight in this horror-ridden world to survive… and to retain Eshe’s sanity. William Dube, the Creative Director of Thunder Lotus Games stated on the PlayStation Blog the game “…is a horrifying fight for survival and sanity. You play Eshe, a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in ever-changing caverns teeming with eldritch horrors. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses at the cost of your humanity“.
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s works, the game preys upon the mind and the dexterity of the gamer. Dube even mentions in the introducing article that the new mechanics are more complex than their previous game Jutron. Be careful as you tread through dungeons while they change and always be mindful of your choices as they hold weight in the game’s world. It is up to the player to decide between Eshe’s humanity or madness.
Sundered will be releasing on the PS4 in 2017.
