Harmonix, developer of Rock Band and Dance Central has confirmed a small number of layoffs have taken place. A Harmonix spokesperson said the following to Polygon:
“We can confirm that a small number of Harmonix employees were let go today. This decision was made due to shifting staffing priorities for Harmonix’s multiple future projects.”
At least 10 employees are said to have been affected but, on a more positive note, BioShock 2‘s Lead Designer Zak McClendon is now at the company as their new Design Director.
