Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls Are Coming to PS4

There are more than a few last-gen games making their exodus over to modern consoles – The Last of Us, God of War III, the Uncharted series. Now we can add two of game director David Cage’s choice-driven classics to that list and they’re coming to Playstation 4.

Announced by the European Playstation Blog this weekend, Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain will be digitally ported to Sony’s best-selling current-gen system individually and for sale as a two-game pack.

Developer Quantic Dream didn’t disclose any details about pricing or a release window, but they did clarify over Twitter that both games will be coming to Europe and North America, “in one form or another.”

Released in 2010, Heavy Rain follows the exploits of four people; Ethan Mars, a single father and depressed divorcee looking for his kidnapped son, Shawn; Madison Paige, a reporter; Norman Shelby, an FBI agent; and Scott Shelby, a PI with a mysterious pas. All of them intertwine around the case of a serial killer dubbed “Origami Killer.”

Beyond Two Souls chronicles the life of Jodie Holmes (Ellen Page), a girl gifted with psychokinetic powers, and her psychic connection with an entity named Aiden along with her relationship with her handler, Nathan Dawkins (Willem DaFoe).
